Communication Counts seeks spring 2016 interns to support client work and learn more about marketing and communications.


The ideal candidates are marketing and/or communications majors and have taken several classes in their field of study. 



  • Knowledge of marketing principles

  • Understanding of new technologies and how to apply to marketing principles

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills

  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution

  • Ability to learn software programs

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities
(including, but not limited to):

  • Maintain social media accounts for Communication Counts and its clients

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for Communication Counts and its clients

  • Recommend and build a company presence on additional social media sites

  • Assist in writing and editing marketing materials, which could include articles, presentations, and collateral

  • Learn various content management systems to update websites for Communication Counts and its clients

  • Assist in promotional development

  • Measure and track responses with current marketing campaigns 

  • Other duties assigned
